Adoption Process

Our adoption process for new adoptive parents

These steps ensures the safety, well-being, and best interests of those interested in adoption.

Step 1:

Initial Inquiry

Every adoption journey begins with a conversation. When you reach out to our agency, we take time to listen to your questions, your hopes, and your uncertainties. This stage is about learning, not committing. We provide gentle guidance and honest information so you can explore whether adoption feels right for you and your family.

Step 2:

registration

When you feel ready to take the next step, you are invited to formally register with our agency. Registration allows us to open your file and begin supporting you in a more structured way. This stage signifies a sincere intention to explore adoption while still allowing space for reflection and informed decision-making.

Step 3:

Learning & Orientation

Once you’re ready to continue, we guide you through a detailed orientation. Here, we explain the adoption process, timelines, and responsibilities, while also addressing the emotional realities of adoption. This stage ensures you feel informed, supported, and prepared to move forward with clarity and confidence.

Step 4:

Application & Commitment

Complete and submit the adoption application form, Submitting an application is a meaningful step forward. It allows us to better understand who you are and what you hope to offer a child. Our review process focuses on safety, stability, and readiness not perfection. This stage marks the beginning of a partnership centered on a child’s best interests.

Step 5:

Home Study & Assessment

The home study is a thoughtful, collaborative process designed to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for a child. Through interviews, background checks, and a home visit, a licensed social worker gets to know your story, values, and support system. This stage is about preparation and understanding, not judgment.

Step 6:

Matching & Placement

Once prospective adoptive parents have completed all required approvals, their profile is thoughtfully considered in relation to a child’s individual needs, background, and long-term well-being. Once a match is confirmed, placement is planned to support a smooth emotional transition, marking the beginning of life together with continued guidance and support from our agency.

Step 7:

Legal Documentation

Our licensed legal team prepares and processes all required adoption documents

The child is legally registered under your name as the adoptive parent(s)

All paperwork is submitted to the appropriate Family.

Step 8:

Finalization

After placement, we continue to support your family through post-placement visits and guidance. Legal finalization makes the adoption permanent, but our support does not end there. Adoption is a lifelong journey, and we remain available with resources, counseling, and care for every stage ahead.
